Born in 1955 in Aurillac France, the artist spent his childhood in Meyrals, a village in Périgord Noirfrom.
After a successfully career in tapestry, he turned his artist talent to painting and suddenly colour flooded into his abstract work.
"He lives by instinct, colour and free expression. Large splashes of color that oppose themselves or are in contrast with, here or there, mirthful transparent tones. All of this is perfectly bewitching.
His pictures are so rich, so full of material and so innovative that it is not always easy to subdue them. One has to persevere in order to achieve this.
Without giving in to fashion and without references to the contemporary schools, he has found his own way in which to be colourful and luminous."
