Jon is a commercial, editorial and fine art photographer.
"Snowscapes": Vast and empty landscapes, simple in subject matter, are shown such that the colour and quality of the light found there becomes the core component - the heart - of each image. Viewpoints are chosen to evoke the greatest possible sense of space and light
"Atmospheric": A series of contemporary photography, seeing the traditional landscapes transformed and mutated by atmospheric conditions. Twisted clouds and haunting shadows suggest a darker reality, evoking feelings of unease and foreboding.
"Naked": A series of black and white images featuring solitary figures in vast mountain landscapes. So that’s ‘naked’ in the sense of being exposed and vulnerable rather than the literal sense!

Naked’ series - awarded third place in the Nature (Earth) category of the 2009 PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris awards and will feature in their annual book.
